The Mullecule shares a topology with several classic distortion pedals created in the '70s. It's simple, and that's one of the reasons it's good. The Gain knob adjusts the output volume of the pedal, and the Clip knob adjusts the amount of distortion. Turn the Clip all the way up for a sparkling cacophony that'll break your heart. Turn it all the way down for a tone that responds to your playing dynamics. But, it's a distortion pedal. You should probably turn it up.
